The Stirring Before the Shift: Don’t Panic — Pivot
Last week, it felt like I was under attack.
That’s the only way I can describe it. Things weren’t going the way I hoped. I was frustrated, worn down, second-guessing decisions I had made with faith and confidence just a few days earlier. It felt like the peace I worked hard to protect was slipping through my fingers.
But then, I caught myself.
I remembered something I’ve lived through too many times to ignore: Every time I’ve felt this way — tired, stuck, pressed from all sides — it was right before a shift.
Right before I landed a new job.
Right before I got a new revelation.
Right before I received clarity, peace, or divine direction.
There was always pressure. Always friction. Always a stretch.
So now, when things start to feel heavy and confusing — I look at them differently. I remind myself:
“This might not be an attack. This might be alignment.”
Because sometimes, God has to shake things up before He settles you into your next. And when the shaking starts, here’s your reminder:
Don’t panic — pivot.
You may need to shift your plans, your posture, your perspective.
But you do not need to collapse.
The storm is loud, but it doesn’t mean you're losing.
It might just mean you're moving.
We don’t always get to control the disruption — but we do get to control how we respond to it. You can choose peace. You can choose to breathe. You can choose to believe that this pressure is not punishment — it’s preparation.
If you’re feeling the press right now, sis, I see you. You're not crazy. You're not cursed. You're close.
So, pivot where you need to. Let go of what’s falling apart. And lean into what’s breaking open.
Something beautiful is on the other side of this storm. Hold on. You’re not done yet.
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done…”
— Genesis 50:20
With grace, with strength - and always with love,
P.S. I love you. 💙
